I had 8 eager students. We had a fun couple of days cutting, laying out and basting including instruction in needleturn applique. Teaching and sharing the art of Hawaiian Quilt making is becoming one of my favorite things to do. Having an opportunity to share with students who want to learn and love doing hand work is a bonus to me. After 2 days in the class room I feel like I learned so much from each of the students. The quilting community is an amazingly supportive group of people that I am honored to be part of.
I will be back in Albany later this summer to teach. Specifics of the class and date to be determined. All of these wonderful ladies have signed up to have me teach them more! I can hardly wait!
