Well, we have some patterns that work beautifully with ombre fabrics! Here are just a few ideas and examples. Let your imagination go wild! Consider these fabrics as backgrounds for any of our 2 Fabric Applique Quilts, or use as the applique for a set of Hawaiian quilt blocks (like the Tropical III set), or Hawaiian Quilts. TIP 1: From the same length of fabric use the color at one end as the applique on the color at the other end. Get twice the mileage out of one length of fabric. Yes, this works better with some ombres, not necessarily all of them.

TIP 2: Fussy-cut your applique shapes from a single length of ombre fabric to get the shading you need for your applique flowers and other motifs.
